![I spent so many years thinking I had to hide my body when I got dressed. Layers upon layers, loose fits, anything to hide the parts I felt were not worthy of being shown.
I felt that if my stomach showed.. if I had a tummy line.. if my clothes hugged my curves.. then that outfit was ruined and not for me. But here is what I’ve learned:
A tummy line doesn’t ruin an outfit.
A body doesn’t ruin an outfit.
Diet culture has just convinced us it has.
Bodies are meant to take up space. They bend.. they fold.. they move.. they create lines in our clothes.
You don’t need to size up, wear shapewear, or spend your day sucking in your stomach just to be “acceptable.”
Wear the dress.
Wear the fitted tank.
Wear the jeans.
Tuck in the shirt.
The goal isn’t to have a body that looks invisible in your clothes.. it is to feel comfortable, confident, and fully yourself.
So here’s your reminder today:
✨ Your tummy line isn’t the problem.
✨ Your body isn’t the problem.
✨ You are allowed to wear clothes that fit your body.. not clothes that hide it.
✨and of course.. YOU ARE WORTHY!!
